Create the right atmosphere and colour in your home: from the front door to the terrace

07/09/2020

From September onwards, the garden centres and flower shops will be packed with colourful MUM Flowers. When many flowering plants have already had their best time, this is when the pot chrysanthemums bring out the best in themselves. Here are a few ideas to make the MUM Flowers a feature in  your home.

A warm welcome at the front door

First impressions are created when entering a house and immediately tell a lot about the house and its occupants. It is important to select items that reflect your personality and which will make your visitors feel welcome.

You can either go for a larger ball-shaped chrysanthemum in a nice flower pot or for several MUM Flowers in different pot sizes. It is certainly not necessary for the colours of the flowers to be all the same. It’s fun to choose colours that complement each other (e.g.: pink, orange, violet). You can even create more impact by putting the MUM Flowers at different heights. For instance, by using a small table or stool in the entrance hall if it allows you to do so.

Ambience and cosiness on the terrace

A terrace also offers endless possibilities for the colourful Belgian Mums. Again, you can combine different sizes and colours to create an attractive display or you can even change the summertime flowering plants for pot chrysanthemums on your windowsill. Depending on the width of your flower box, pick a few Mum plants of the same colour. Although, it’s best to avoid too many different colours for your windowsill display.

Colourful atmosphere in the home

The colourful MUM Flowers bring a nice splash of colour both indoors and outdoors. Pot size 15 is ideal for use in the kitchen or living room. A combination of several size 12 pots will also add some flower power to the dining room table. Mix and match according to your heart’s desire.
